Munday's Thought - 30th October

Good Morning All,

Well last week saw the first snow hit the North East, I am so not ready for that yet!! 

On Monday I had a meeting in Liverpool which was a good chance to see some family too, journey was poor coming back but when are motorways ever quiet! On Tuesday I had some friends stay who were doing business locally. Gave them a chance to see true Geordie hospitality!! I took them out for a small pint or two. We were the hosts on Tuesday to the Luxe magazine supper club. This saw some movers and shakers visit the hotel. The food, wine and service was all first class. Well done team!

We also had senior executives from Newcastle United dine with us on Tuesday.

On Wednesday we were paid a visit by Neil Morrissey of men behaving badly fame, he was in the area and chose to dine with us. He is a fellow Crystal Place fan so we spent ages talking football!

Thursday was a quiet day in hotel with a few internal meetings.

On Friday I travelled south for the annual ‘Munday’ family pumpkin carving competition. For some reason my family make a big thing about Halloween, the kids love it. Well after picking the biggest pumpkin ever and spending hours carving it our entry came 3^rd out of 20!! A good result I think!!

I spent all weekend in the Midlands with family I had not seen for a while.

Managed to get a cold now though! (manflu)
