The Assembly Rooms is a dedicated Conference and Banqueting Centre, which dates back to 1776. Has been a family business for over 35 years, offering personal attention to detail and outstanding service, with 8 separate function suites accommodating from 2 to 420 guests or 920 utilising the whole of the building. All packaged within a grand Georgian building, which offers ambience, elegance and can give that something extra to ensure your event is everything you would hope for.
Conveniently located in Newcastle City centre, only 2 minute walk from the Central Railway Station and Metro Link. Some parking is available on our forecourt with further spaces available within the adjacent public car park.

The Sage Gateshead
The Sage Gateshead is a North East England landmark, at the heart of the NewcastleGateshead Quayside – a simply stunning location in which to hold a conference or event.
Their two main halls have world-class acoustics with state-of-the-art technical facilities, sitting alongside two large multi-purpose rooms, an abundance of smaller meeting rooms, a spectacular glazed Concourse and foyers with stunning river views.
The Baltic
Housed in one of the most iconic buildings in the north east of England on the south side of the River Tyne in Gateshead, BALTIC offers an elegant and unique venue for conferences, meetings and corporate events.
BALTIC’s largest event suite stretches out across a whole floor of the gallery, it offers the grandeur and scale of an exhibition. The main room with its white walls and pinewood floors can be dressed to impress and is available for corporate hires, workshops and conferences. Other events have included large scale TV broadcasts, fashion shows and product launches.
